It is a Relational Aesthetic, not politicised, about New Media. How post-capitalism potential will solve risky economy based in obsolete system? Field is Digital Aesthetics. Working with Source Code, Maps and Cartographies, its tools are 3D Modelling programs Processing Open frameworks; they define their work as a complex process and formed by multiple phases. Glacial Shapes as a regard from the past time. Multiple, complex and fractal Shapes fusing the rhizome nude with the Fractal, approaching to Abstraction (like in Palazuelo, Spanish pilot and painter from Spanish Civil War). It also looks like to the Abstract Sculpture generation, influenced by the bloc, as in Chillida works. Using imaginary altogether with algorithm or trigonometry of multiple shapes are approaching to modeling in architecture. It Narrative achieves the abstraction of creative process, in general, in a sort of Abstract Dynamism.

Field.io. Are Marcus Wendt & Vera-Maria Glahn. Germany. Hesse Region Government Grant. Interim Camp Experimental Generative Animation 13:00min, HD720p Poor visibility; weather again unsettled today. Surreal rocks and river lowlands, valleys fog-shrouded. Frightening depths and emptiness. Rarity of air is noticeable. What are you looking for in this hostile stretch? A meditation about the pursuit of an idea; about obstacles, struggle and failure along the way.

Field - Interim Camp

The scenes of Interim Camp were composed from the perspective of a wanderer, whose path becomes more challenging with every step, with every day he or she spends in this area. In fact, the physical and mental strains affecting the body on a mountain hike can lead to vertigo, altitude sickness, displaced perception, and hallucinations.

Besides the increasing morphing of the landscape, the coloration of the film plays an important role in representing this physical and mental condition of the invisible protagonist, in whose position we place the visitor. Scene by scene was colourised in post-production with the help of dynamically changing colour palettes.

Musician and composer Arran Poole worked on the soundtrack in a parallel process. He layered noises, drones and rhythmical patterns to relate to the vastness and abstractness of the scenery. Weaved in field recordings of foot steps, breathing and unfamiliar sound events support the narrative of the film.
